Dean Geller is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer specializing in resistance training for strength, posture, physique development and pain management. His approach combines movement pattern analysis and hands-on queuing to teach mind-muscle connection. His training is informed by extensive studies in body mechanics, psychology and the mind-body relationship. One of his favorite elements of personal training is figuring out what will work best for each client’s unique needs. His interest in rehab and pain solutions led him to the field of physical therapy where he gathered experience as an aide and trainer, guiding a varied population through rehab exercises. Working in a physical therapy clinic has given him insight into the post-surgical rehab process, the management of chronic pain, arthritis, scoliosis, sciatica, disc herniation, and more. He has plenty of experience working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, as well as training with limited equipment for home exercise. For Dean, hard lifting sessions in the gym were always therapeutic. He fell in love with pushing his own limits, practicing discipline, and dieting to optimize performance and recovery. He maintains a steadfast commitment to his lifestyle alongside the belief that life is meant to be enjoyed and moderation is only good in moderation. Whether the goal is strength, post rehab, bodybuilding, weight gain/loss, injury prevention, or sustainable lifestyle and mindset adjustments, Dean excels at guiding his clients toward success.
I could not be more grateful to Dean Geller as a personal trainer! I started working with Dean as a post-rehab trainer, coming out of PT after my 2nd shoulder surgery. He has done an incredible job keeping me on track, progressing safely and at exactly the right pace for me. He thoughtfully plans each session, but is quick to adapt and truly tuned into what’s best in the moment. I always look forward to our sessions, and it feels amazing to be getting so strong in a safe, fun and sustainable way. I would highly recommend Dean for personal training.
