Our Facility

Here for you in every step of your fitness journey.

Working with business executives, runners and triathletes, new and expectant moms, young adults, and rehabilitation patients, our mission is to empower clients to attain optimal health through a balance of personal training, athletic coaching and nutrition.

We believe the best way for a client to attain their physical equilibrium is to create ‘mind – body – spirit balance.’ Through one-on-one, customized coaching, our health and fitness experts weave this philosophy in to their work with clients.

We know that physical activity, beyond just improving an outward appearance, is proven to reduce stress, increase energy and prevent against disease. To maximize that activity and avoid injury, each Physical Equilibrium fitness routine includes muscular strength training, cardiovascular endurance and joint-muscle flexibility.

In The Community

Physical Equilibrium is extremely proud to provide services to several New York City area nonprofit organizations that utilize healthy-lifestyle activities as a method to raise money and awareness for their missions. Since 2009, Physical Equilibrium has coached over 150 runners to complete the NYC Marathon. These runners have raised over $500,000 for Gilda’s club!

Red Door Community

formerly Gilda’s Club NYC
Physical Equilibrium has partnered with Red Door Community Gilda’s Club NYC, a place where men, women and children living with cancer – and their families and friends – can join together to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care, since 2009. Currently, Physical Equilibrium is coaching the organizations Five Boro Bike Tour Team and its New York City Marathon team. In 2010, the Gilda’s Club Marathon team raised a total over $100,000 for its cause. The team is aiming to beat this number in 2011.
